October is a wonderful month around Chicago, whether it's Indian Summer or winter getting ready to rear its head. Here are a few snaps of my favorite architecture and nature subjects.

The second annual Highwood Pumpkin Festival broke the Guiness world record with over 31,000 carved pumpkins! Simple pleasures made for a blast of an evening. We're already planning what we want to carve for next year's fest. Come join us.
